The Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) is a national regulatory body that serves and protects the public by overseeing licensed immigration consulting and international student advising professionals. Standard with all regulatory bodies, ICCRC’s fulfills its mandate by:
- Establishing entry-to-practice requirements;
- Licensing professionals;
- Overseeing their professional development and conduct;
- Receiving, investigating and adjudicating complaints against its licensed members; and
- Administering a disciplinary process to sanction its licensed members whose professional development and conduct fail to meet ICCRC’s standards.
Licensed immigration consultants are known as Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and international student advisors are Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs).
